A. Orien Avery is a freelance writer as well as a sports junkie. Since being given his first bat, ball, and glove as a child he has had a love affair with baseball, a subject he readily enjoys covering as a Featured Contributor. If struck by writer s block, A. Orien can often be found tossing around his beloved game-used baseball from Shea Stadium for inspiration.
