Hi, I'm Craig Bean. My wife Sherry & I have been married for over 26 years, and have always shared a similar sense of financial discipline.
I retired earlier this year, at the age of 48.
We've long seen the concepts of reduce, reuse, recycle as good for our finances, as much as they're good for the environment.
More than occasionally we've been ridiculed as overly tight, frugal, or even cheap, but as the years have gone by, we've felt vindicated that the path we have chosen is a valid one, and one that has lead to the early retirement I have long been shooting for. Those same choices have allowed Sherry to work only part time over the years.
We hope to share some of our insights with others, with the belief that something will resonate, and will make a positive difference for at least one person!
I am a long time motorcycle rider, and have been involved in the art of bonsai for about 15 years. Parents of 2, and grandparents of 2, we both like to spend time with the kids, and travel when possible.
