She won the Society of Professional Journalists Award of Excellence for Best Columnist while writing for the Texas Christian University newspaper, The Daily Skiff. She also received the Best Columnist Award from her editor during her time as an opinion columnist at TCU. She has written for online publications for the last three years, specializing in home decorating, entertainment, fashion and beauty and wedding planning. She also enjoys writing advertising copy and welcomes any chance to be creative.
